At South Etobicoke Animal Hospital, we’ve put together the Foundations Puppy & Kitten Program — a veterinarian-built plan that lays out exactly what your new companion needs during their most important early months, so you’re never left wondering what comes next.
The program covers four planned visits, your pet’s spay or neuter procedure, and a welcome pack to help you settle in as a new pet parent. Every appointment is built around what your puppy or kitten actually needs at that stage — no guesswork, no missed steps. Exact timing may shift slightly based on your individual pet.
From that very first exam to the day of their spay or neuter, our team stays with you at every stage — so your new pet grows up protected, well-adjusted, and ready for whatever comes next.

Open to every SEAH client with a new puppy or kitten, the program gives you:
Joining is simple. Once enrolled, we’ll pre-schedule all four visits along with your pet’s spay or neuter appointment, so the whole plan is on the calendar from day one.
You pay for each visit individually, as you go. To stay on track with the program, visits should follow the recommended timeline, and all vaccine visits need to be completed before your pet’s spay or neuter procedure.
No — you pay at each individual visit, the same as any regular appointment. Enrolling just gets every visit pre-scheduled and mapped out for you.
That’s no problem — just give us a call and we’ll find a new time. To keep your pet on track for their spay/neuter, though, all vaccine visits do need to be completed first.
Yes. As long as the procedure is booked for the time your veterinarian recommends, you stay in the program.
None at all — no enrollment fee, no contract, and nothing paid upfront.
In most cases, yes. Talk to our team and we can typically get you started from your pet’s next visit onward.
Absolutely. The program is open to new and existing clients alike.
Young pets build immunity gradually. Spacing vaccines out — typically every few weeks — gives their immune system the best chance to develop full, lasting protection.
Not exactly. The ages shown are a helpful target — visits spaced roughly a month apart will still keep your pet properly protected.
